The statement is a telling giveaway of Clinton's resoluteness and determination as a person. It also shows that this is a woman – nay, a politician who acts on decisions that are well-planned for and calculated.
Hillary Clinton has had her share of critics and enemies. During her time as First Lady, she was subpoenaed during the Whitewater controversy and even had to wear a bulletproof vest at one time. However, true to her resiliency and resolve, Hillary Clinton was able to overcome these difficulties and progress significantly.
So is America ready for Hillary Clinton? America is no stranger to Hillary Clinton. From 1993 until 2001, she was America's politically active First Lady. If America has to vote for her, they would do so because they recognize and prefer her potential as a leader of the nation. America has experienced Hillary Clinton before. It is only a matter of determining whether the new Hillary is what they want to lead them.
It's false to shift the focus on the fact that Hillary Clinton is a woman and asking instead if America is ready for a female president. Her being a female presidential hopeful is beside the point, actually. It's what she brings to the table and to the future of America that matters.
Will America be better off with Hillary Clinton as its first woman president? Considering we now live in the 21st century, there shouldn’t be any skulkings and groanings regarding the gender she was born with. It's beside the point, really. Hillary Clinton is an ambitious woman, hands down. It's evident in how well she has shown her prowess and political skills. However, she has obviously put her ambitions to good use, climbing the ladder of politics steadily and becoming recognized as a leader and lauded as one of the most powerful and influential women not just in America, but also the world.
And now Hillary Clinton wants your vote as president – first woman president, by the way. Already, she faces some tough issues both in the homeland and overseas. For Hillary Clinton, this isn’t a question of whether she can perform or not but on how well she will be able to handle her limitations. After all, a leader's strength is not measured by what he does with his talents but by how he performs in spite of the lack of it. And
